Fact: Brigham Young's MORmON exodus was completely driven by self serving ulterior motivations of Brigham Young, NOT by driving necessity. In fact, IF the real goal of the MORmON latter day restoration was to spread the MORmON gospel word to the world to prepare for the second coming of Jesus then the best thing to do would have been for MORmONS to mind their business and to stay in contact with established civilization in order to most effectively present the MORmON gospel to the world. Instead, Brigham Young wanted to run off to the frontier isolation of the West so he could have his plundering and polygamating way with his MORmON flock in completely unfettered fashion.

I so agree that Bully Briggy could not wait to be fully able to isolate his head-in-the-sand-followers so that he could become the WORSHIPPED KING he invisioned.
