So we know that Joseph Smith, when translating the Book of Mormon, used two different types of tools, which both helped to translate them. One was called the Urim and Thummim, and the other was called the seer stones. So the Urim and Thummim was taken up as well with the Book of Mormon by angel Moroni, but the seer stone was I guess not

What is telling about this conversation is that the Missionaries didn't care that your testimony came from a dubious source. They didn't care that you practice magic and are a pagan. They just went with it. How can an organization exist while ignoring its principles at the same time?
