I like Big Love but "Suspension of Believe" was needed from beginning to end to make the show enjoyable. The ending was no more outrageous then most of the show.

Like Barb or Margene spontaneously giving birth to the second coming of Christ. Something like that.

I didn't like the ending, but the last seson was better than the one before it with the casino, the bird smuggling and the campaign.

I had envisioned that the show would end with Bill being dragged off by the authorities to be tried for statutory rape and his future uncertain. Then a calm and composed Barb would step up to the place and be the priesthood holder/head of the family while Nikki and Margene would be cringing and clustered around her for comfort and blessings.

I was sorry for Bill when he got his ass shot off.

I thought that maybe all the wives would leave or at least Barb and Margene.That would have given Bill what he deserved.

I thought he'd become the next prophet of Juniper Creek.

Also: Did Bill's mom die of an insulin overdose? Did Bill's dad also commit suicide?
