Book of Mormon prophecy! It prophecies things like Christopher Columbus and other things. Things that Joseph already knew about. And right after they everything that he already one was prophesied the prophesies turn to ultra vague things which can fit anything. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

The Book of Daniel, allegedly written in the time of the Babylonian Captivity (ca 600 BC), prophesies all kinds of things correctly that happened before 165 BC, but all the prophecies of things AFTER 165 BC turned out wrong.

So, when do you think the Book of Daniel was actually written?

Probably THE most pathetic discussion I was ever involved in was a TBM using that scripture to explain how it proves Smith was a prophet and the BoM was true.

Lehi is speaking to his son Joseph. Joseph Smith isn't a descendant of Joseph the son of Lehi, he and his father are Gentiles.

The church made up a big to-do over something that can't be possible. In fact, history so far shows that the seer mentioned in 2Nephi has yet to arrive.

But aside from the obvious fabrication of the entire BOM and that it's all a lie anyway, wasn't JS's temple name Gazelam or something? So, like, the name he has for his mortal life is mentioned, but the name he will be known by for ALL THE REST OF ETERNITY doesn't need to be noted in this holy record, just so we know which Joseph out of the zillions of men by that name is the one the prophecy means?

Jeez, he couldn't even make up covincing bullsnark about himself, could he?

The perfect evidence that the Book of Mormon was written circa 1830, not 400 AD:

All the prophesies that take place before 1830 are spot on.

All the prophesies from 1830 to today are pretty spotty.

Why would Nephi et al. have perfect clarity to the day JS was "translating" their work, and then start having the records of the Psychic Friends Network?

The Occam's Razor explanation is that the man writing in 1830 could look at history books, but had no power of prophecy to predict the future from his time forward.

Of course there a lots more perfect evidence than that.
