There are definitely LDS affiliated e-mail domains in the Ashley Madison data dump, including byu.edu, byui.edu and byuh.edu.

So far, none from lds.org or lds.net.

What are other good domains to look for? These can be either directly associated with the church and its subsidiaries, or just statistically correlated with Provo, Rexburg and other heavily Mormon localities.

Time to crowd source!

No way to tell if they're legit.

Wouldn't we love to know?

@ldschurch.org is worth looking up.

Guy N. Holliday, Receivers Coach for BYU Football is in the transaction logs. 2015-04-25, $19.99

Will keep this thread up to date with any other interesting finds.

With Salt Lake City being the fourth highest city per capita with Ashley Madison subscribers, there have to be quite a few active LDS on there.

If enough of the Big 15s names turn up, watch for an announcement that god has secretly reimposed polygamy, and that they were simply looking for extra wives.

This cyber hack is truly intriguing.. I am curious who registered under their employers email..reality TV. News media style. Oprah just lost her audience to a criminal act of buzz worthy realism.

As I understand it, the site operates without an email verification (???), so there's no way to know if any of the addresses are legit.

I find it hard to believe that anyone would use a work or church email address for something like this, rather than setting up an anonymous webmail. But I suppose not everyone thinks of those things.

Finnan,

Some of the e-mail addresses are validated, but others aren't. And one can often tell valid e-mail addresses from an organization if they match the format of other addresses from the same organization.

Additional LDS and related domains found in the Ashley Madison dump include e-mail addresses from LDS Business College and Southern Virginia University.

Could still use more domains to look for. What about the various Bonneville entities and Ensign Peak? Please contribute!

Utah is #8 in the percentage of state population with PAID AshleyMadison.com accounts. Paid accounts mean you're serious, that you want to send messages, not just browse and see if someone contacts you.

Maybe Ashley Madison will get a mention at General Conference and knock pornography off its pedestal as the most brought up topic.
