Saw the last part of a Jeeves and Wooster episode with my wife when I got back home.

This evening I will be drinking spiced rum.

What's YOUR tipple, folks?

Alcoholic or not, please join the RFM Friday night party.

Looking forward to a couple Firestone Easy Jack IPA's this evening with dinner-chicken parmigiana...

That's a tasty beer, right there.

I am drinking Drioma Russian Imperial Stout, Red Rock Brewery, and I thank God, who as an Atheist I staunchly believe does not exist, rigidly and with religious fervor just like a Mormon, in the name of Sam Smith Dawkins who I strive to emulate, for this drink. Amen and Amen.

(This to be sung to the tune of "The Spirits of God Like a Fire are Burning)

henceforth and forever.

My standard Friday night drink for a number of decades, dark Captain Organ rum and diet Pepsi.

Captain Organ. I imagine his picture on the front of the bottle has a little different emphasis.

I've been known to be called by the name "Captain Organ" . . . while I was dreaming.

I bought two bottles of wine today. The Cabernet Sauvignon to drink with my barbeque salmon dinner and the Zinfandel to have on hand for another day down the road. Sonny says he would prefer the Zin. "But I want the Cab," I whined. "The Zin will go much better with your salmon," he insisted. I relented (because its a small thing and I'm that kind of mom) and opened the Zinfandel.

Sonny was right.

He chose.... wisely.

Leinenkugel's Harvest Patch Shandy. It tastes just like a slice of pumpkin bread.

Nice switch from their grapefruit shandy over the summer.

Cheers, everyone!!
