The missionaries spend all day every day basically sitting around with their thumbs shoved up their collective @$$es. How about in the spirit of service the missionaries call a member family to tell them that they are going to stop by and fix dinner for them one evening during the week. The COB should foot the bill for the food too. I know. I know. It would mean they would have to reduce the purchase of cattle ranches, resorts, malls, and towns by a few thousand dollars a year. It would be challenging taking that amount of money out of the $10 billion they rake in every year but a bit of a sacrifice might go a long way.

Food for thought.

Is "ward missionary" really Hannibal Lecter?

We actually would bring dessert. We would buy those Jello Cheesecake mixes and bring one with us to some members' homes. I was taught by my parents to not be a "taker" in life, but a "giver" as well. :)
