Back in the early eighties I was T-Boned at an intersection near the Oakland, CA airport.

When the E.R. doc tried to examine me I remember getting one of the worst wedgies in my life. I remember finally telling them "the underware is one piece! Cut it off!"

One of them in the background muttered "stupid Mormons."

25 years later, I know how right they were!

I had a similar experience with a doc. He said how the hell am I supposed to check you out? Last time I wore g's to the doc office.

I have good buddy that loves the damn things. He special orders the one piece and uses them as a bathing suit, once and a while. It really is quite funny to see him jump in the pool.

Yeah, that might be funny and inconvenient, but you LIVED. Those garments protected you. Sometimes a little inconvenience and teasing is well worth the price of God's protection.

(wink)

On the upside...

if you're wearing a dress, it's like you're wearing crotchless panties. My DH liked the quickies I gave him when wearing them.

I do understand the doctor's comment and frustration, but he was out of line making such a comment where you could hear it.

I wasn't clear - my bad. Someone in the background said it, don't know if it was a doc, nurse, tech, etc.

As you were. :-)

Okay, but it is still a bit rude to remark on someone's undies, especially if the person is injured and in the ER. I do agree that garments are ridiculous, though and I would have been thinking the same thing.
