had a wicked thought, Closet Gays having embarrassing erections while following said Man-Buns, Not to mention the fainting of young nubile women as the man-buns walk by.
Sorry God, you can evict me from the Garden now...
This is a popular style now. My college student son is growing his hair out to achieve it. Almost there. I kind of like it. He is not seeking my approval or permission, and that makes me happy. He's a grownup!
I knew Clark from my Honors classes at BYU. He seemed like a good guy, but now he's got a real stick up his ass. He seems hot to climb the GA pole. Bednar was called apostle directly from BYUI, so maybe Clark is thinking the same thing.
Of course this is the school that compared pornography to Saving Private Ryan.
I always thought it was hilarious that Jesus is usually depicted with long hair AND a beard... but at BYU Provo long hair on guys AND facial hair were against the "dress code" or whatever.
Hypocrisy much? Oh wait, it's Mormonism, of COURSE.

I wondered about that too...and the "what Jesus taught" bullshit....'cause pants hadn't been invented back then for men to show off their other buns...
Brandywine, Interestingly enough, the private Hawaiian schools that only permit Hawaiian students "to the extent allowed by federal law", teaches traditional Hawaiian practices in a manner that preserves the integrity of the culture and the Hawaiian history.
That being said, Kamehameha Schools require their male students to wear their hair in a buzz cut.
I'm a public school teacher here on Maui. I've taken workshops on the Oahu campus-its beautiful and rich with relevant history.
Jesus taught dress and grooming standards? So THAT'S what he was doing in the temple when his parents lost track of him. Who knew?
Why doesn't BYU-I just force everyone to join ROTC and wear uniforms and male buzz cuts? It would make things much simpler and less confusing. I really think that's the look their going for. It would also solve the problem of overwhelming admissions applications. I think it would cut down drastically the number of (male at least) applications and it could easily become a predominately female school.
***Just have to add that I, too, imagined tight pants and large tooshes before reading the article. Couldn't quite wrap my brain around what kind of weight lifting regime would produce "extreme man buns".
