What does recovery from Mormonism mean to you?

For me--I'm in a good place MYSELF.

I've come so far, far enough that my gay ex lives in this house with me. I'm still friends with those mormons who meant the most to me. I'm in a relationship with the guy I should have married at 20 (not mormon) for 11 years now. My parents accepted and listened to me before they died, because they saw what I went through. I'm finally on good terms with my sisters again.

I will always have issues with the lds church. I will always carry baggage, but I have been successful and found happiness outside the lds church more than I ever did as LDS.
