Yes, coming out in opposition to the brethren or in a manner that would impact"the good name" of the church is pretty effective. Just keep it as public as possible, letters to the editor, social media, etc. They can be pretty touchy.
It also would probably help to publicly lampoon some of the brethren.

You should conduct a solo home teaching program to all the active members you know in your ward/stake. Share your knowledge about JS being a con-man and a fraud and direct them to the essays, ces letter, and whatever other source you want. You should be able to cover some ground before the bish or sp can have a chance to call you in or make an announcement that all members need to shun you. This should give you visibility and message.
Give a sacrament talk in which you create a meme, then start selling T-shirts with that meme on them. No, wait, that won't work :(
Sharing the contents of the lds.org essays in Sunday School and priesthood/relief society lessons should be enough to get you kicked out. They don't like it when you spread anti-mormon ideas at church.
