Recent events have broken my heart. Can I get some advice about formally removing my name from TSCC records? I would like to use email.

Thanks for the help in advance.

You can find it on the main page. But I will provide the link.

And I believe you want to word it as resignation not name removal.
Best wishes.

On the main page is the directions. Yes, you can do it by email. We can help you on what to expect. http://www.exmormon.org/remove.htm

You will received a couple of pamphlets along with a letter saying they consider it a local issue and the information has been sent to your Bishop or Branch President. But once your email is sent, you will no longer be considered a member so don't let them bully you or contact you, etc...

OK
So I don't have the faintest on my;
Baptism date 50 years ago
or my membership number. Hell, I don't even know what ward or branch I reside in (SLC Area).

I didnt supply any of that when I resigned.
That said, I bet you can guess the approx month and the year of your baptism if you were baptized at 8 years old.

The fact is, once they recieve your email, you are out and it's official. They may have requirements in their mind as to what they need to know, but in the eyes of the law, you are out.

Don't confuse their self-imposed hoop jumping to your legal rights.

It may take longer than usual. I think they are going to have a spectacularly busy week coming up.
