I actually feel like I am helping people and impacting their lives in a positive way. I was even given a potential job opportunity for more money, but turned it down because my current job is so rewarding.

I own my business or I should say it has owned me for the last four years. Now we are expanding and I am taking on some great qualified help that will allow me to get out and spend more time with my family.

To have one!!! (lol) over 14 mos of not having one, here.

Same here, I was laid off because of the recession, and it took me over a year to get the job I have now.

I get to make a contribution to the world, including working on the BP Oil Spill, which I'm doing right now as we speak.

good for you, the gulf coast catches enough from natural disasters we/they certainly don't need to lose the beach we've all loved so much.

Just the sense of satisfaction from solving problems and doing something which I enjoy (and my client/manager is a gorgeous, funny lady... and really strict - like a domme :-)

I also like just observing the folks in my office when they lose their shit. Lots of shit lost today.

I wake up at 8:30 every morning and roll into work whenever I feel like it... It's challenging, and I get to work with some of the funniest folks I've ever known.

Also the paycheck... I like my toys.

Well, I don't get a paycheck, and I don't get sick time or days off, so I suppose the best thing about my job(as a stay at home mom) is that I get to feel good about myself knowing that I am fulfilling my true calling as a woman...

Ugh. I just threw up a little.

The federal government takes care of its people like all people should be taken care of in any job. It's a model employer. There is no willy-nilly sacking of people, there is arbitration if there is ever a serious problem, there is strict racial and gender equality, you get paid well, and everyone gets great benefits (same as congressmen). My favorite thing: I get to travel--not so frequently anymore, but now and again. I'm a-going to Indonesia for the first time, and first time overseas in about 2 years. Anyone here been there or speak Bahasa?

I get paid to write. But I could do with more money, though! ;o))

I have no idea why folks on this side of the pond are so stoked about that stuff.

Actually, I wasn't caring about it at all until last night when I watched a TV show about it.

I loved Diana--and I really like the fact that William and Kate have lived with each other for so long, and love each other so much. AND that they are going to name their first-born daughter Diana.

I like the lack of micromanagement the best. And that I work with my husband. :D. The pay is nice cuz we like toys.

Apr 29th, my employer will no longer be owned by the Church. Now that's worth having a toast after work with my coworkers about!
