I wanted to get some community thoughts on exposing the SCMC and the story of how I was investigated by it in 1999.

I'm considering exposing the names, social media profiles, Facebook pages, names, dates, everything of those involved in the form of a web site or at least a YouTube video.

I want to expose them all, hold them accountable.

Should I do it? Should I name names? Post links?

Should I just drop it?

I promised my ex wife not to tell me two alienated adult children about it, but she's an 'ex' now and all bets are off.

How should I, or even should I, publish this story?

I'd really appreciate your thoughts about this.

I would do it; I personally have taken to naming names, including Richard Hinckley.

The key, I think, is to document everything so you are not legally vulnerable. If you can publish letters, documents, proof of what happened and then use minimal language to tie the things together, I'd go for it. But you are more credible if you, to the extent possible, let the documents speak for themselves.

Bear in mind the full cost: the anger of relatives, the ostracization by church members and old friends, the possibility of retaliation from the church. I think you are safe legally if you use the documents and because the church doesn't want to dignify public attacks by challenging them.

Do you hear that Elder Pitts? Elder Hinckley? Elder Haight? Elder Kikuchi? Moral cowards, all.

You need to fully understand who you are challenging and what they will bring to the battle to defeat you.

They can do damage. I've seen things that keep me quiet.

Can't incriminate myself or face possible 'visitation'. Sorry.

It's safe to say there is a lot of interest in this subject...perhaps enlist the help of those experienced in telling/reporting these stories?

Tell it all. Don't leave out any names to protect the guilty. I put in all the names except for my home teacher in my bio. I even put in what the Hinkster himself told me about his doubts.
