With his wife and she was probably teaching him to be one.
Did you catch his justification at the end?
If homosexuality is such an important topic why no revelations? It changing from a sin to think to a sin only in doing would have been nice clarification in scripture.
"Thank you for asking about homosexuals, but let's talk about those damn beautiful people who get all the perks just for being pretty. They make me sick. They are real, not like homosexuals. There are no homosexuals."
Bender seems a little bitter about not being born one of the beautiful people. (I know its" Bednar" but my spell check changed it to bender and I just couldn't change it back.)
Let me change the question...so I can skirt around the issue and then pretend that I actually answered you honestly and intellectually. This feeds my ego that I already know more than you. I will always be morally and intellectually superior to you because of the nature of my position. I wouldn't want you to get any ideas about you not remaining subservient to my whim and will.
They are really clinging to homosexuality as a human deformity garbage.

Yeah, so people are so pretty that they don't have to have any other redeeming value is similar to people who have attractions so strong to people in their own gender that they have no redeeming value.
Or their brain is physically limited like mentally challenged and schizophrenic people.
God is good at creating personal limitations on his loved children and so we should love them too! They can serve in the church as long as they don't look for real love in it.
I love when they talk about ghawd's constancy, his never wavering teachings...
Of course when you start to point out just what a fickle son of a bitch ghawd is, they tell you you don't understand. Facts are not really facts when it comes to ghawd. Don't listen to what the words say, listen to what we say they say.
"In Iran we don't have homosexuals like in your country," Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said at Columbia University last night in response to a question about the recent execution of two gay men there.
"In Iran we do not have this phenomenon," he continued. "I do not know who has told you we have it."
So we are back to "Don't answer the question that was asked. Answer the question that should have been asked."
I swear. They are getting more condescending than ever before. Or is it just Bednar. How can people listen to that guy and not start pulling out their hair?
And couldn't they find a GA who speaks the language to answer the questions? Darn difficult to listen to all the back and forth language changing. It would have been easier if he'd just taken the questions all at once, left, and written a dissertation to answer them at one time by someone else. The format he used was impossible to comprehend.
I knew Susan Bednar a few years back. She used to be a feisty lady with plenty of original ideas and "not so authority friendly" opinions of her own. She must have to be beaten down pretty regularly to stay in her place.
"Bednar Speak" to the rescue. No more pesky problems at LDS, Inc. We'll just redefine everyone. There are no liberals in the Mormon church. We won't define you by your desire to see that government insist on equal rights for all. There are no feminists in the Mormon church because we will not define you by your desire to create social justice for women. There are no gays in the Mormon church because we will not define you by the way you view yourself. And if you do insist on defining yourselves by any of these words and acting out accordingly, we will have no other option but to excommunicate you. Therefore, there never are and never can be liberals, gays, feminists in the Mormon church. End of discussion. The great Bednar has spoken.
