A Lady Missionary from my mission came out in the early 70s. She told me that anyone who wasn't in on it would be stunned by how extensive the lesbian 'connections' were in Salt Lake City and the mormon church. In about 1978 she and her partner came to LA and took me to a mammoth gay dance party in Beverly Hills and then to a Lesbian Bar.
I think she's capable of being secure all by herself. She may not be interested in marrying anyone. It will be interesting to see where she lands. I somehow think she'll land in a place that makes her happy.
