I reject out of hand any argument that would state that a person can be both historical and supernatural. I don't believe Jesus Christ, Harry Potter, or Superman ever existed. However I would be doing myself a huge disservice if I didn't acknowledge that all three have had a big influence in my life and the people around me. Even though I'm an atheist, I sincerely hope Jesus was real and that he's coming back soon. Could you imagine? I mean, don't go and listen to some asshole priest tell you what Jesus thinks. Read the new testament and check out how he's portrayed. He's chill, laid back, wanted everyone to hang out and be nice, drink some wine, don't judge others, help the needy, etc. I so badly want him to come back, look around, and ask all the churches in the world, "Ummm...
