This is exactly what we were told when our Moroni 10:4-5 prayers
came up empty.

"Well," they said, "you can't just ask like it says in the Book
of Mormon, you have to LIVE it. You have to attend meetings,
study scripture, keep praying, accept callings, obey leaders,
pay tithing and keep at it. THEN God will answer your prayers."

So, in other words, I have to BUY IT in order to find out if
it's real.

A Mo friends son got the nigerian mind virus a few years ago likely due to his magical upbringing...100 k later hes still dropping money in the scam....his folks are beside themselves to get him to see there is no million dollars...there is no new car in toronto....his dad even spent an entire day taking him to the border to prove there was no car...yet still he persisted....as bad as i feel for the family i cant help but see the connection with tscc...keep paying folks...the prize is just...out there...maybe pray harder...maybe do more...maybe your a closet fornicator...here do this calling...you have questions??....be the bishop a few years...you can do power interviews and be in charge of the extortion...keep paying...those who quit will be SO SORRY! Cognitive Dissonance theory says, when your behavior and your
thinking don't match, the tendency is to change your thinking to
match your behavior. It will be very difficult for him to both
give up the hope AND admit his behavior was that stupid.
