Lots of LDS are devoted, true believers. No different than the millions of Catholics, for instance, or any of the other dozen major religions in the world. It's their World View, their core and the reasons for their lives.

Plain and simple. They were born into a religion that told them that their way was the only way to be - and if you question it, you're in the power of the adversary. So- out of fear, many of them don't question. And they fall for the lies, hook, line, and sinker.

It can't be itself. It doesn't know what that is [not curious or patient; neither thoughtful or forgiving]! There is no way it can grow. Old maybe, but never vibrantly healthy, never fully happy and never truly wealthy (even if, until, and unless it opens its fists, gives and abandon shaking the heavens for money and members down just for getting back up), meaningful or true.
