I would also argue that in addition to the unjust, the dishonest need fear critical thinking. It would appear that Mormonism suffers from both maladies. Freedom to explore concepts fully or nearly so is sadly lacking within Mormonism. Though education is encouraged, the strangulation of free inquiry hinders development and severely cripples many Mormon's intellectual development. No question or path of investigation should be forbidden in my opinion. The truth need not fear examination and the light of day.
Mormonism is far from the only group to attempt to smother queries but it is generally the closest to home in my personal existence.
