Yesterday I was in the guest bathroom looking in the mirror, and out of the corner of my eye I saw my wife walk past down the hallway.

I said something and got no response, so assuming she didn't hear me, I followed her down the hallway to the living room, but she wasn't there. I thought, maybe I didn't notice she was in the family room, but she wasn't there either.

Finally I found her in the baby's room and the door was closed.

Then I realized that I didn't actually see her walk by, I just saw "someone" walk by out of the corner of my eye and I assumed it was her.

So... who walked by? :)

Something similar happened to me once. I was spending the night at my parent's house, sleeping in a downstairs bedroom. I woke up and saw my mother standing in the door (or so I thought). I rolled over, then thought... "That was weird. Why was mom down here in the middle of the night?" So, I went upstairs (maybe less than 2 minutes had passed) and found my mother sound asleep in bed. She clearly had not been up. So... who did I see??? Freaked me out...
