Mormon rules regarding other religions

Isn't there a rule somewhere about not affiliating yourself with another religion? I remember being asked this question during temple recommend interviews. I haven't been mormon in about 6 years and recently I took up a position with a catholic church, although I am not catholic. I've hesitated even mentioning this to my family.

You can be excommunicated if you formally join another church. If you have not been baptized into the Catholic faith, it should not be a major issue with the LDS church.
