The most important document

Dear Jeff, Dallin, Dave, Dieter and the rest: with all the documents that have recently been leaked, the individuals involved seem to have omitted one. Could you please open it up to public view now that so many people are suddenly more interested in the LDS church? The one I am speaking of, of course, is that most special one that I'm sure all of you have contributed to, namely the list of all your recent interactions with heavenly beings. You know, folks like Moroni, Nephi, Elijah, Paul, and especially Jesus. You should also probably include your conversations with Joseph and Brigham, as they surely are in frequent communication with you all as you and they collaborate in the final details of preparing this planet for the return of Jesus.

It shouldn't be a major inconvenience. I am sure that each of you has a long list of examples, and we don't need the entire catalogue- a few of the major ones would be more than sufficient. Just names, dates and a brief synopsis. Can you work on that, please? Maybe you could even have a first draft available for the upcoming General Conference. Wouldn't that be nice?

Two documents that might be relevant to your request:

Mar 25, 1950 - President George Albert Smith writes, "I have not
seen the Father or the Son, neither have I heard their voices in
an audible way, but I have felt their presence and have enjoyed
the whispering of the Still Small Voice that comes from them,
the result of which has given me a testimony of the truth."


President Heber J. Grant answered a letter of Mrs. Claud Perry,
on 13 April 1926. The letter is found in the First Presidency
Letterpress Copybooks, Vol. 72, CHD, and reads as follows:

"Dear Sister: Answering your letter of the 12th. I know of no
instance where the Lord has appeared to an individual since His
appearance to the Prophet Joseph Smith, Sincerely, your brother,
(signed) Heber J. Grant"
