Pretty sure this means the End Times have begun.

Either that, or it's a really big moon.

You've probably seen a "supermoon" before, and--as the article states--the difference between this one and others (like the one you might have seen last month) will be "negligible."

You'll need a bloomin' big spanner!

(PS - 'big spanner' is not a euphemism lol)

Are you sure this is the moon, and not really Kolob?

I wonder what the earth looks like to the Moon Quakers?

IDK, but I wonder if we'll be able to see the quakers with the moon being so big tomorrow.

Watched the March 2011 Supermoon from the swimming pool at our condo in Maui with our grandkids. It was spectacular.

Geez!

The moon part? Or the swimming pool at your condo in Maui part?

Both kinda. It was wonderful to be in Maui with my grandkids and the supermoon was a special bonus.

Let's hope it doesn't turn into blood.

Even if it DID turn to blood, I don't think any would get on us or anything, cuz it's really far away. So it's all good.

Would that be arterial blood or venous blood?

I can't make up my mind which would be cooler...

Bruce Almighty can do what he wants with Jen, but he needs to stop messing with the moon.

The moon was bright enough to read by.

I can't see it, as least not yet. There's no stars out either, just drizzle.

I can see it from my yard tonight. It's partially hidden behind the cloud mass, but even without a clear view I can see it's mammoth sized.

Beautiful light emanating from it ... like a trillion lights flickering through the clouds.

I'm jealous !! I love this kind of stuff . It's still partly cloudy outside . We do have big trees all over the place though, but you can usually see it above. I'll try again later , when the moon usually is higher in the sky .

You can't post images directly here.
Upload it (for free) to someplace like imgur. Then post a link to the image on that site here.

This morning as I was leaving for work (4:45AM), the moon was so bright all the local roosters thought it was the sun coming up. :) I think I can tell a 14% difference in brightness. No supernatural affects, of course...:)

Thanks a lot for the hint. I know nothing about this sort of stuff. I'll get hubby to do it next time.
I don't know how to upload; he does.
Some of the links I send , go through, like the Mormon Quaker one above, others didn't .
