You've probably seen a "supermoon" before, and--as the article states--the difference between this one and others (like the one you might have seen last month) will be "negligible."

My son and I just looked at it. It is unusually bright.
Watched the March 2011 Supermoon from the swimming pool at our condo in Maui with our grandkids. It was spectacular.

Both kinda. It was wonderful to be in Maui with my grandkids and the supermoon was a special bonus.

I can see it from my yard tonight. It's partially hidden behind the cloud mass, but even without a clear view I can see it's mammoth sized.

I'm jealous !! I love this kind of stuff . It's still partly cloudy outside . We do have big trees all over the place though, but you can usually see it above. I'll try again later , when the moon usually is higher in the sky .

This morning as I was leaving for work (4:45AM), the moon was so bright all the local roosters thought it was the sun coming up. :) I think I can tell a 14% difference in brightness. No supernatural affects, of course...:)
