obligatory thread What are YOU drinking this Friday evening?

Started early today at 3pm.

My wife decided to make some delicious rum cocktails with Kraken black spiced rum, plus some Captain Morgan's, using Fentiman's botanically brewed Curiosity Cola.

I finish work early every Friday.

So, what's your tipple this evening?

I have some Hobgoblin ale for later.

I drank Molson Canadian pints Thursday watching my Toronto Maple Leafs at a sports bar/restaurant destroy the Florida Panthers

Tomorrow I'll be doing the same, but we will be playing the best team in the league, Montreal Canadians, aka the Habs. That will be a fantastic game as per our rivalry

Hockey is clearly the best spectator sport ever

Just sayin

Beer, hockey, cute servers...

Good stuff.
It smells (and tastes!) a whole lot better than Filipino durian. :)

Oh, and I can assure you, it *does* go really well with rum. And vodka. And you can make a mean martini with it.

Here in the great state of Vermont, I'll be drinking a Maple Martini as soon as the next 12 minutes go by, I run to my car and drive 5 miles home. I won't be able to make that drink fast enough - what a week!!

Tell that .. um .. friend of your brother's, it's vodka, maple liqueur, maple syrup (but of course!) and dry vermouth - 2 oz, 2 oz, 1 oz, 1 oz. Shaken, not stirred, and poured over ice, then garnished with just a drizzle more maple syrup -mmmmmmmmm - lip-smacking good!

Thank you very much. Just a few hours ago I was at the liquor store in Mesquite and picked up some Patron Mango and Triple Sec. The next time I will look for Maple Liqueur. I'm going to try this one soon. I will return and report. Come James, let us go down. We will go down.

My new favorite is Patron XO on ice. It's a coffee flavored Tequila that is oh so delicious to the taste and very desirable. A small glass, maybe 8 oz., full of ice, and filled half way with Patron. Let it chill properly, and sip slowly while typing on RFM. Yeah, this is what Jesus would do if he was still around and had a computer.
