Sounds like an episode of 'Big Bang Theory'; Sheldon and the gang show up in Starfleet uniforms to a small town in Utah--hilarity, handcarts, and investigator discussions ensue...
I don't know what it is, but somehow the stuff at White Elegance is a little bit scary to me. Maybe it's just that it is at *White Elegance* --- not sure. The whole thing sounds like an idea that would not fit in too well in the real world (i.e., outside of the Corridor).
And I somehow wish that it didn't exist anywhere at all....
Most of my mormon neighbors have a family picture where they're all wearing white. It's creepy. The guys look like they're going to Prom in the 70's & the girls all look like they're getting married. YUK.
Your link is for White Elegance, the manufacturer's website. I believe they also have a few stand-alone stores in, and around the Salt Lake Valley? I'm surprised that Target would be selling their clothing but, if so, I have to applaud White Elegance for what, I would assume to be, a smart business decision that will undoubtedly be a successful venture from a financial standpoint. Out of curiosity, I'll check out Target's website to see which clothing items from White Elegance they are now carrying. Thanks for posting this interesting tidbit :)

Yes, Cinda, my apologies for the confusion. I was just leaving Target and saw that store.
I'm sure Target doesn't carry clothes like that, unlike the days when JC Penney carried garments. My parents were sealed in 1964, I was 15 and went with her to the local Penney on Main Street in Midvale, UT to buy their new garments.
Seems they ginned up an industry around nothing. Because temples and temple attendance are nothing. It's a church about nothing. And is it really elegance? Really?
