I want to change my user name, on this site; can someone here tell me how to do it?

To my knowledge, all you have to do is to re-register with your new username, and then use that new username from that point on.

(In the future, do not use your present username again, because using two or more usernames is not allowed on RfM.)

It's been a while but if memory serves me correctly you have to watch a 2 hour movie, go over to a white curtain, rap three times with a small mallet, and they will give you a new name. However, don't tell us what it is, it's a giant secret. Other than that I don't have a clue how you change your name.

Haha. Imagine if everybody here had the same twenty or thirty names. Any attempt at communication in that case would be an absurd joke.

Makes you see how really uninspired the whole temple name malarky really is. We know his Omniscience is capable of it, so obviously Mormon Heavenly Father is too lazy to learn his kids names.

Could be fun to do a thread where everyone uses only their temple names.

Kinda like a 2 hour condo sales pitch you endure so you can get a break on a dinner cruise on Maui.

For some reason I thought it could be changed in your user setting. But when I checked it looks like we no longer can.

Thanks for asking the question, I found out my email address on record was an old and now incorrect.

I would email one of the admins, they might be able to manually do it if needed.

You can probably just create a new one (with a new-different email), delete or stop using your old one, and reply here with your great success... using your new - or old - name.
