I've it shared before on this site (warning: very sad and graphic)--
My companion and I were visiting the home of a member woman and her daughter, who was about six or seven years old. The woman had just bought her daughter a cute little puppy that day. As she was walking around the room, the mother accidentally stepped on the puppy with all her weight, crushing it and leaving it squirming and seizing in the throes of death. We all felt very sad and helpless watching the puppy die so pathetically.
However, my companion decided he wouldn't leave the home without invoking his priesthood powers. Yeah, that's right, he tried to resurrect it with a laying-on-of-hands priesthood blessing. I knew well enough not to attempt anything that bold--especially on a non-human--but apparently my companion never got the memo. I felt so awkward and embarrassed even being in the same room as this (in my opinion) highly inappropriate display.
Anyway, you know the end of the story already: major fail!
