Why didn't God make them white and delightsome, because those heroic boys would have been veeery enticing to the Nephite girls (even more than a pasty white RM!).

That's what I always assumed he was thinking about in that painting.

I always wondered why i'd never ever met a mormon guy that looked like that. Not one, not ever.
When I was in my 20's I dated a guy who was a body builder. It wasn't a relationship I wanted to pursue. The reason being that I couldn't compete with how in love he was with himself. I got pretty sick of his self adoration and non stop preening. He was a gorgeous sight to behold though. Boring as hell in bed.
With the Cults fascination with the gay agenda, I'll bet this painting either get's altered (paint some robes on those guys or that it will suddenly disappear altogether. (Not unlike the lost pages of the BofM.) LOL.
Plus, they're men wearing skirts. COME ON! We just can't have that in the morg...
I can't remember, who's the guy who has done like 80% or whatever of all the Mormon paintings? You know all the ones that are in the Book of Mormon? Like the one with the guy on the wall with all the arrows being shot at him, the one with Abinadi in Chains, the one with the 2000 Stripling Warriors I think, and there are a bunch more..

My favorite is when the family of Lehi is crossing the ocean, and there is a little kid resting his arms on the edge of the boat or whatever, and he looks like he is totally ripped, like someone twice his age. It makes for a funny looking painting. In all of his paintings, all of the old dudes he draws seem to be totally ripped and stuff too. I've read before why he draws people this way, I just can't remember what he said, but there is a reason for it.
Other than latent homoeroticism.
