Two guys die in a plane crash

They are both 60, both have 5 kids.

One is a Mormon bishop. One is an atheist.

The bishop's fall is a trial for his followers or a consequence of his sins.

The other guy fell because of the law of gravity.

Both die as much as the other guy.

The Bishop dies as a reward for his virtue, so that he can teach people 'on the other side' and be there to greet his wife and children, when the time comes.

The atheist dies because god is extracting vengeance on the sinner who mocks god's sacrifice and defiles his own estate

Whatever the reason the atheist died I'm sure it's pure evil and probably the reason why the plane crashed and killed the bishop as well, who now has a great work to start on the other side endowed by the lord who foresaw his death. Amen.

Since he was flying with an atheist, the bishop is being punished for not shunning sinners and apostates. Either that or for using his position to build his MLM downline.

Mormon says, "You mean you serve whisky here?"
