I was driving home last night, on 900 W in Salt Lake City. I saw this billboard and wondered how much it would cost to have that put up there. I hadn't seen it before and I go by this location usually a couple of times a week.

I can't read the badge so I don't know his name.

I wonder if they put one up when he left?

Daddy probably owns a sign company.

At least it beats the cups stuck in the chain link fences. But to be a good sport--Welcome home Elder. I hope your mission was a fucking blast! The Boner.

I agree. I wish they would cite the people that do those cups with littering at least.

Then they say, "Why aren't you out looking for real criminals, like robbers and rapists and murderers?" My answer was, "I enforce all sorts of laws, some big, some little. Now put your hands behind your back..."

From what I can find, For Salt Lake billboards go for:

large: $1,500 to $5,000
Medium: $700 to $3,000
Small: $300 to $800

I can't tell for sure but the picture looks like it would be considered small, so daddy may have gotten away with just paying $300.

This boy's loved ones obviously missed him and despite any religious differences we may have, I join them in a heartfelt ' Welcome Home !'. I find this heart-warming.

Big fish in a small pond.
But talk about a huge ego that kid will have to get over when he goes out into the real world to get a job.
Actually Mormons make pretty good employees, if you don't mind their judgementalism all the GD time.

Perhaps it's like saying, "Congratulations on not coming home early like so many." LOL

As an introvert, I would be mortified. My Dad did/does stuff like that. It's about the attention he gets, not gives. Just saying...
