I see the Book of Mormon as totally debunked, yet there are more and more videos out glorifying its wonders. Also lots of Jesus videos, to prove that they are Christians after all. And what's with all these young missionaries/returned missionaries declaring how wonderful the LDS church is? Can't they read? Is this a desperate effort to keep people in the church and believing? Are these video makers being paid?

Keep them in the dark, keep them testifying, keep them doing FHE, keep them doing seminary, keep them on missions, keep them married young, keep them popping out kids, keep them writing checks for tithing, keep them working hard to pay for all those kids and that tithing, keep them reading 'The Ensign', keep them volunteering, keep them in callings, keep them watching GC in awe of the Prophet.

Keep them busy.

Keep them away from the internet.

Keep them from thinking.

A true lock step religion ... or rather, cult.

Most religions: trying to find ways to live good lives.

The mormons: trying to keep the wool pulled over the members' eyes.

They can't possibly keep the wool over the eyes of the young generations we have now. There is simply way too much information out there, way too easily accessible, and it gets thrown in your face any time you even touch a subject online that's related to spiritual/religious. These teens and young adults won't be holding those testimonies for long. Does the church have a new game plan developing for the future?

Scientology paid video maker to make video and pretend it was real. Wouldn't put it past the LDS church to do the same thing on Youtube. They have plenty of money and resources and making an unprofessional video is very cheap.

I think they feel the more "good" they put out, the better for potential investigators. If they investigate the church and see some good and some bad, they'll be more likely to believe the missionaries, when they tell them how bad the internet is

People who put these videos out (whether instigated by COB or not) are also reinforcing, and declaring, their loyalty to the cult.

"Can't they read?" Haha. Somehow that simple question says it all. This is not about truth. Period.

Apparently there is no doubt that doubting your doubts works without a doubt. What would Gwen Stephanie say?

The important thing is for Mormons to interpret what they read as instructed by their controllers. The words passing before their eyes have no meaning until Mormons are told what that meaning is.

I am so glad I figured it out. My life began at that moment, not at birth.
