DyC 18:10 : Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God.
Sometimes I wonder how many TBM's remember this when they speak with and about an Ex Mo, a Never Mo, a LGBT, a person from another religion .... To sum up a person whose beliefs or values are different from theirs.
The pyjama people are boring me to pieces Feel like I am wasting my time They all got flannel up 'n down 'em A little trap-door back aroun' 'em An' some cozy little footies on their mind
Po-jama people! Po-jama people, people! They sure do make you sleepy With the things they might say Po-jama people! Po-jama people, people! Mother Mary 'n Jozuf, I wish they'd all go away!"
I remember talking about this scripture in EQ, and listening to things such as "we have to treat everyone well... we have to be an example of righteousness... We have to take into account that every person is a spiritual son of our heavenly father... Because the worth of souls is great in the sight of God.
So, I think TBM's interpret the scripture in the same way as me, but lots of them (not everyone) just ignore it.
But in the end, unless you submit to the ceremony and circumstance of passing through the glorious ordinances of salvation, you will be doomed to an eternal existence of perpetual dickless boredom in a purposeless lower kingdom, without increase or eternal progression. What will be your worth to the mormon god then?
This is the belief behind the lip service you hear in your elder's quorum meetings.
