[eta: I think Callister invoked the "... men are that they might have joy" one. As in: there's NO WAY Joseph Smith himself could have produced such a pithy passage, so worthy of adorning major kitchen appliances throughout the developed world!]


Also: "God's fingerprints are all over the Book of Mormon."

Tad R. Callister, General President of the Sunday School, just gave that assessment in that afternoon session of General Conference, using his extensive training in Divine Forensics.

Callister also issued an extensive list, similar to the one found in "The Challenge the Book of Mormon Makes to the World" (attributed to Hugh Nibley), implying that Joseph Smith could never have produced the Book of Mormon himself.

So many fallacies and flat-out errors--always fun to deconstruct (the Nibley list is linked here):

Hee hee good point, that is right --he did go to the "people post these quotes so how could Joseph have written it?" argument.
