Three years into his stint as prophet to the planet, Smith announced he had received a wake-up call from the Lord, telling him that civil war would soon break out in the United States over slavery and, from there, spread throughout the world, generating famine, pestilence, general destruction, etc., eventually engulfing peoples and places everywhere, and leading to the utter, complete and ultimate "end of all nations."

One would think that these prophets who know the mind of god would get it right just once.

The current situation with our fearless leader has many parallels with "Dr. Strangelove." All you need to do is combine the renegade general Jack Ripper with the former Nazi scientist Dr. Strangelove and who do you get?

Just a hint: it rhymes with Hump.
