No matter the topic, church meetings were depressing. Pointless suffering is certainly the worst. The way Mormons try to make those stories faith promoting is atrocious.

My DH has begun attending Sacrament again, more than a decade after I resigned. He had not attended for years after I left, but now he does. It seems to do something positive for him, though I can't imagine what it could be.

He was BIC. Maybe it is different for them. I don't know. He has been getting upset with me for expressing unhappy or angry thoughts. Like, if I stay focused on angels, harps and happy 'shrooms or something, I will be more pleasant to be around. I'm not chronically angry, BTW. Just now and again, something will upset me, and I say so.

Guess I will have to start stifling that.

Hell, I don't even GO to the effin' church, and it is affecting me.
