Intimations of pre-Nazi Europe, much?

This is frightening, considering the momentum the movement is gathering across Poland which has reunited to become a part of Western Europe again.

"Demonstrators carried banners that read "White Europe, Europe must be white," and "Pray for an Islamic Holocaust."
Some wore masks and waved red and white Polish flags, chanting "Death to enemies of the homeland," and "Catholic Poland, not secular."

Can,t speak to the specifics of Poland but if it is anything like the UK then traditional cultures are under threat of massive change. I left Britain in 1968 and I am posting from there now. The England I left no longer exists and in the area where I grew up I would be in the minority to virtually ever race possible. When people feel threatened, as I imagine Poles feel their culture threatened, extreme views can become popular in a bid to halt the changes. That said, my brother joked they could only find 60,000 Poles to protest because the rest are in Britain.

It's becoming like that in New York as well. Demographics show within the next generation Caucasians will be the minority in America.

Hitler was able to incite the Germans against the Jews to scapegoat their problems and economic woes onto others. I hope this century has learned from the last century's atrocities so we do not repeat them.

The idea of Poles calling for another Holocaust is extreme and alarming. What are they trying to accomplish? Reopen the concentration camps for Islamic refugees?

so the poles want a catholic theocracy.
I wonder who was behind that demonstration.

I wondered that too.

It may not have been the Catholic Poles staging it, if it was engineered by a certain arm of the FSB in attempt to disrupt and destabilize western Europe.

Go back three hundred years or more. Almost all the states of Europe were ruled by dynasts and many of them didn't even speak the same language as their subjects
