Love the Sherrod Brown/Orrin Hatch exchange today.

Denial of the hurt his actions have caused is a Hallmark LDS technique. (as is the use of such words as "bullcrap")

Orrin came from the depression era dregs of Utard society doncha know?

Calling him an elitist really gets under his wrinkly old skin.

In other news.....Mitty is shopping for fashionable Georgetown enclave digs.

Orrin Hatch could have properly responded with an explanation of how the tax cut helps the average Joe more than the mega-rich, but no. He chose instead to proclaim himself above reproach and insist that whatever he said was true just because it came from his mouth. Mormon behavior through and through.

How to interpret his response? "How dare you disagree with me! I'm the best politician ever." Stomps foot.

I think he's taken a page from Oaks famous quote, "It is wrong to criticize the leaders of the church even if the criticism is true."

The "Sacred Cows" have taken control of everything. Aaaaahhhhh!

Google up the story of George I. Norman, a Hatch client who was a federal fugitive for decades, and you'll see Oral Orrin's ethics on display.

When Norman fled a prison sentence in the 1970's and was finally re-captured, Hatch commented that he "Wished he hadn't done that; I had a legal maneuver ready to spring him."

SenHatch has brought a bad tax deal to the people and country. He does not care. Does not want anyone to notice.
Have a friend in County who says, one of the most expensive and least noticed item is guardrails along ALL the roads.
$0, no guardrails, die saving money.

A righteous Mormon politician would never put the interests of the wealthy and powerful above the interests of the average Joe and Jane who don't have any extra money to funnel to sitting politicians. No, that would never happen.
