"Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor."
It was already carved in stone ;)
And now, the mistweetment is carved onto the everlasting internet, and the emporer is quite the naked one. I'm not a believer, but completely accept that some of those who composed those old sayings may have been possessed of degree of wisdom, a brief spark, and/or had been heavily edited over time.
There is no denying that our emporer is being held to a different standard of behavior than those he governs, or those in the other arms of government.
Imagine one of the beloved Q having been recorded, speaking of grabbing a .. you know. Then imagine a woman advising that she had been one of the grabbed. Then that Q says it never happened, his words of grabbing were a [joke].
Imagine changing doctrine, a total rewrite of history. Imagine protecting those in authority from allegations of abuse, simply because they are (beloved) authorities.
Abuse is abuse. Mistweetment is a clever term for lying, always an attempt at manipulation, always an attempt to deny another of informed consent. In this case, the informed consent of the governed.
If those who wrote the ancient human wisdom about dealing honestly with others ever saw the Emporer's birthday suit, it didn't make it into the Final Draft.
