Funny how LDS are quick to point out that Jeff's led the FLDS, not the LDS. Jeff's FLDS is much closer to the practices of Joe Smith and BY than today's mormons will ever admit.
There's always been a very small percentage of twisted perverts in society, but for an entire town, including girls parents to go along, that's a special kind of sick.

One side of it is the priest (religious leader, guru, bighead). He is the puppetmaster. He holds the strings to the invisible puppet that they call gods.
The other side are the people. They are sheeps who have faith in what the leader says.
That's the way it has been for who knows, 10,000 years, 20,000 years, 50,000 years.
