I've been very sick for several weeks. Worse illness in my life! Happy to be recovering -- long process. Finally able to get on the computer most days for a few minutes.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas. Mine was very quiet.

I'll start contributing when I am feeling better and have something intelligent to say! (Pain meds make me goofy!)

Nice to hear from you, SusieQ!

Keep on keeping on; do it at your own rate. You're well worth waiting for when you contribute.

I'm very glad you checked in. So many of us have been concerned about you.

I hope the fires and smoke were not too close.

Please get rest and feel better!

Thank you for all the good wishes! I'm on the mend. Older folks take longer to recover, I see. Patience is not my strong trait!

The fires were way too close but did not threaten us. We did get a lot, and I mean a lot of smoke and ash for several days.
Fortunately, I only had to go out once but that was enough. We were cautioned to wear the masks. I stayed in and kept the windows closed. Doors were only opened briefly.
The Thomas Fire, finally made it to the largest in CA history is nearly contained.

Glad you were spared. Air quality must have been horrible which doesn't help if you at sick.

Heart broken for all the loss the fire has caused!

The devastation from the fires is overwhelming. Fortunately, my son's in-laws were spared, (only minor damage). Not so for some neighbors. Just horrible.
Next ----the rains and all hell will break loose -- again!

Everyone who replied was appalled by his behavior and admiring of how you handled the situation.

Take care and keep improving so you'll soon be 100%.

I guess I missed the appalled behavior !
Thanks for the good wishes. I have good days and bad days. More good ones, thank goodness!

and let's not forget my favorite RFM story: SusieQ#1's living endowment, in a white nurse's dress and stockings worn over her old school ankle-length garments. It's up there with Cheryl's front yard hose.

Oh my. So sorry. Lots of "respiratory crap" going on in our area - mostly South of us because of the fires.

We have all been thinking of you, SusieQ#1. It sucks to be sick during the holidays--well, it sucks to be sick, any time. Sorry you are in pain. You must have felt extra helpless being sick AND having those fires and smoke closing in on you. You're a brave lady! I'm glad you are getting better.

Next year had got to be better for you!

Remember, RFM is here for you 24-7, day and night.

hugs to (((SusieQ#1)))
