Maybe I just had to acknowledge how bad TSCC really is, or maybe I finally accepted the massive fuck-over. It feels good.

Hey Babylon, glad you feel better. Yes, it was that bad. :-)

Babylon, I know how you feel. When you finally get over it and accept tscc for the farce it is, no ifs, ands, or buts about it, it's profoundly freeing. Congratulations! :)

I may have been an apostate waiting to happen. In my church meetings I would think to myself, “I am a stranger in a strange land”.

"I may have been an apostate waiting to happen."

You had a feeling in your gut that it was BS. But, you were trained to ignore your gut and focus on the burning in your bosom. Congrats.

I felt that way since I was a toddler.

But then my brother was going through cancer treatments at the time, and our family life was turned upside down.

As I've gotten older recognize that I'm just an introvert (mixed introvert/extrovert according to the standardized personality quiz.)

When I rebelled as a teenager, it was a prelude that someday I would find my way out. Just didn't know at the time how long it would take after going inactive for a couple of years.

For a long time, I felt like that, thinking something was wrong with me. Then, one day it began to turn into now wait a min ute...

I’m so over the Morg I had to look up who the First Presidency was and the next in succession. It was fun to see a name of the 12 I didn’t recognize. After recovery, there’s no need to give a fuck about anything Mormon.

I visit here because of posts like yours. I love your snarkiness! I get most of my Morg news from RfM nowadays as I don’t want to wade through the faith-promoting shit of the Trib to get to meat. The Meaty Boner.

I didn't know anything about who was president and apostles before coming to RfM. I'd been out for ten years when I found this site. Didn't give two cents for conferences, changing of the guard. Nuthin.

Here I keep up because it's what's on newbies minds as they're leaving I suppose. Not mine.

Was more interested in the Ex-Mormon Foundation conferences in SLC than the other one.

At the age of 90, “The changing of the guard” could mean something different.
