When we were taught long division in 4th grade, Mrs. Rausch made it so fascinating that not just a few of us would stay in the class room to work on long division problems on the blackboard, while Mrs Rausch and the other teachers spent their break in the teachers'lounge doing unspeakable things to each other, or playing slot machines.

It was very innocent fun.

So I have decided to find a circle in heaven, measure both the diameter and the circumference, and then divide the diameter into the circumference, long division style, on an infinite blackboard, to see if it ever rounds out.

Cuz I gotz ta know!

What are your plans, if you wake up dead on the other side?

I would like to understand all the 'mysteries' on earth and tour the universe. I could speak directly with the 'spirits' that accomplished those mysteries if we continued.

However, as I understand it based on experiences, we will be studying our previous earth life and planning our next incarnation. That doesn't mean we can't understand all the 'mysteries' on earth and explore the universe also.

I hear you!

Most people who believe in reincarnation believe that the life you get is somewhat based on how you behaved in your last life. Some say you plan it or choose it. Some say it's based on "what you need".

My daughter suffered every day for 18 years and died by suicide.

If someone willfully gave her that life, they're a monster.

She certainly would not have chosen it for herself.

I believe you get a life that's largely random and when it's done--that's it.

Thank Gawd.

Exactly. All anyone has to do is look at part of the world today, or look back into history, and know, that for most people, life is brutal and wholly unjust. Fighting to survive.

Why would ANYONE choose to live a life like that.

I would never want to live another mortal life. Ever.

As a human, that was exactly my thoughts when I started getting past life experiences!

The best book to read, based on past life regressions via hypnosis, is Newton, Journey of Souls.

It is suppose to be 'optional' to live other lives, however, it appears 90+% do it. It would be 'very, very, unlikely' that this is your 1st incarnation.

However, it is ok to believe what you want ---- you will not have to think seriously about it until you have your 'memory' restored in the 'in-between life'. I think we will both think differently based on being probably 'millions' of years old.

I'm millions of years old and I keep choosing to come back to earth?

So then, ...I'm not that bright. Shame on me.

It is a fact you are human now. However, I never said you have only had 'earthly' incarnations.

The 'Universe' is full of 'life forms' you could incarnate into if that is what is deemed 'what you and soul group need the most'.

That decision is yours when all is said and done but you definitely have assistance in that decision.

If there is life after death, I would like to continue on with associating with those that I know, get to know others, continue to learn about all that there is to learn.

You know, basically a continuation of this life, but hopefully less stressful

I'm going to build the largest Hadron Collider ever built in heaven and make God jealous with my science experiments.

Then I'll play "I spy with my little eye..." with my friends.
.
.
.
.
And make God jealous again because I can spy God but he will never see himself. Being able to do something God can't do, it will be the apex of a heavenly existence.

Live in a spacious Greek type mansion with art deco furnishings and tame wild cats,in beautiful surroundings, lush foliage outside, pools, columns etc.
Parrots in the trees, horses in the meadows, ocean views in the distance.
Forever learning, interacting and going to parties with other like minded people.
I'll probably also give time helping others, as long as it can be done from a distance.
I know one thing - I will never go into an earth life again.

But then there's the movie, "'Till the Clouds Roll By'", where a black slave is forced to 'lift bails of hay' all day, with his body 'aching and racked with pain', who sings, "I'm tired of living and 'fraid of dying".

I'll hope the best for you, if you won't mind hoping the best for me.

IF there is an afterlife, which I am hardly sure of.

A lifetime membership at national parks. (That's my wish for this lifetime, post-retirement.) The price went up in January for lifetime passes 62 and older from $15.00 to $85.00. Greedy buggars. And [at least some of] the national parks have been shut down since Friday! Refund!

So I can be a regular visitor, and cycle to my heart's content.

If that's too much to ask for, I'll take what I get.

Most likely it will be some form of eternal progression. If there is no progression we would either stagnate or regress.

There is that possibility as well.

Or, as my rabbi has commented, God gave us life. He can take it away. For rabbi that would be the equivalent of hell, the annihilation of the spirit ie, soul. Only the most evil souls deserve such a fate, according to him.
