In case you don't, you can see what he looks like in this video:
http://youtu.be/ko7accWcDcAAnyway, I just randomly had him pop in my mind on this late, insomnia ridden morning, and I was looking him up to see what became of him. After reading about him for a while, I discovered the plot has thickened since his days of standing outside the SLC temple in all white.
The story, starting in 2009, in summary, goes like this:
Nick, a devout yet schizo Mormon with a developing criminal history, as well as a neglected and abused family, got a message from God to dress in all white. He tried wearing an all white suit and tie to the LDS visitors center, and as he wandered around, he saw a picture of Jesus with a white hood. He put a white handkerchief on his head in emulation, and at this point was asked to leave by church officials. He refused, and was charged with trespassing.
It was at this point that he got a revelation to stand outside of the temple with white face paint and temple clothing. He was attempting to be as pure as possible, and since he couldn't attend the temple, he'd do the next best thing. This embarrassed the Mormons, and created a minor online buzz about this strange man. Nick lost weight as he neglected to eat in his daily, ever-more-white vigils outside the temple. Eventually, the authorities were able to arrest him on an unrelated charge, and get him off the temple grounds. It was at this point that most people thought the story was over, and it was time to let it die.
However, the story was not over. Nick returned home, and contrary to the pleas of his family to get help, he spiraled deeper into stark white world of delusional perfection. His entire home became more and more white, white carpet, white furnishings, white everything. In his quest to become the perfect person, he began weightlifting excessively, to the neglect of everything else.
Here's where things get weird. Nick started an online, 24/7 web-show. It was streamed live through a pornographic cam website. He figured the seedy world of online pornographic exhibition would be a great place to spread his cult of Nick. Eventually, he developed a mixed following of loyal followers, many heckling him and mocking him, others egging him on and hoping to see some nudity. He would bathe online, however in his underwear. He would cook, clean, eat, sleep and lift lots of weights, all online. He proclaimed himself greater than Jesus, and the beginnings of a cult called Planet Nick began to take shape. The followers called themselves Nickazoids. Nick eventually claimed he was God, found some foreign woman name Carmen, whom he proclaimed queen of planet Nick. There were children involved and exploited by being left alone on the cam show. Nicks family was on the show, trying to get him to put an end to the insanity. Nick jumped from website to website, as one would kick him off and he'd go find another. Nick said he'd would become the President of the USA. He curled up in a ball and cried hysterically like an infant, and bounced around the room whilst shouting swear words.
He moved from Utah to LA and back again. Then, last month, things fell silent. However, many people followed with intrigue, likening the shenanigans to great reality TV. Nick has been accused of being worse than Jim Jones. Throughout the histrionic days of webcam drama, Nick would occasionally proclaim the LDS church to be the one true religion.
That is the latest on the story of Nick. I can't find any of the videos archived, but they were on websites like USTREAM, JUSTIN.TV and one I won't repeat because it was adult. I hope you all enjoyed this strange and horrifying update.
