One claim that is documented but not honored or later denied.

By mormon standards I'd say yes.

But, many things do "prove" its false. It's getting some people to accept that proof that's the tricky part.

In some cases, proving a negative is not problematic.

One doesn't need to prove it's false (Mormons/ TSCC needs to prove it is true).

I believe it was Richard Dawkins who said "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof". The church has fallen way short of providing any sort of proof. And a good feeling, one that can come from a variety of experiences, is not proof.
