Mormon exes say bishops no help. Surprise

The LDS church gets another media black eye today. Rob Porter's ex-wives speak out. Between this and Utah's Mormon politician in today's news, the church isn't having a great day.

LDS bishoPRICKS/ biSHOPsuck - not always the people but the callings, the (missionary) position, the people they [are made-allowed to] become.

TSCC has been silent on this issue of late (what's new?), as the media and the world become aware of the DAMage (of) MORMONISM. They will be speaking about it soon {mark my words}.

MORMONS ARE WAKING UP. When the members awaken, the 'leaders' will speak, as is always the case, at least to shut them up - or down - even if it is TOO LITTLE, [and almost] TOO LATE, and the WRONG approach anyway.

I'm confused.

Your husbands is supposedly punching you in the face for no reason, and you have to go the bishop or some counselor for advice?

So they tell you to keep getting punched in the face and you agree?

She says a secular counselor told her the abuse wasn't okay. I guess that never occurred to her.

If you've been conditioned, your entire life, that your priesthood holding husband, as well as all other priesthood holders, have authority over you, and have special insight, granted by the powers of god, then yes, you do what the bishop says. LDS Inc. is a club for men, founded by men, ruled by men and protects their own at all costs.
