Enjoying my day off by watching some Sunday morning news. Followed that with a late leisurely breakfast.

Treated myself to a pedicure with foot massage using tea tree oil, wild mint, with lavender lotion (by Reflexology.) Saved a bucket load of moolah by doing it myself! :D

After lunch I will shovel snow for a little while during the warmest part of the day. (Not that that's saying much, but we take what we can get of the sunshine and daylight living up north.)

Doing anything exciting today? Relaxing? Going to church somewhere? As a child my parents would take us on Sunday afternoon drives following church meetings, in the countryside. That was quality family time, maybe some of the best times we shared as a family.

Whatever your vivre de joie, here's wishing you a good one!

BUT THEN if I take a day off, I have a harder time getting back in the swing of things! I'll work some today as both jobs are in NEED.

I'm going back to bed and watching some TV and then I'll take the dogs for a walk. Then I'll go 'work" at my boyfriend's house as his daughter, her boyfriend, and a college friend of his are coming to ski (here in Utah, the worst ski year in a while) next week and his house is a disaster, so I'll go start cleaning. I will only do today what places in the house his giant German shepherd isn't allowed in as if I clean windows, etc., today, they'll be covered in her artwork by Friday.

Just feel like being a vegetable today.

After scraping off the sidewalk and driveway of mushy wet snow, now I'm too tired to do anything but take a nap.

Oh the vagaries of Sunday!

After which I shall see what else shall trifle my time away until it's time to rise and shine again for Monday. One nice aspect of shoveling the walks is you get to catch up with the neighbors on the latest scoop in the neighborhood.

Like I learned yesterday who has a spy satellite on the block. Today it's who will be having surgery next. And anyone's guess what's next.

:-)

I'm watching TV and drinking tea. I took a hard fall this week, so I'm icing down my knees and whatever other joints are complaining.

Thanks, Amyjo. I managed to trip over one of my active boys. I'm getting a little long in the tooth for this very active job, but I have to stick it out for now.

Trying something different for dinner. A version of sweet-n-sour chicken but doing in the slow cooker. Will have rice as a bed when it's done. Also green & red peppers and carrots and chunky pineapple.

Also did some woodworking this morning.

Just got back from watching the movie "I, Tonya". Going to pick up my son in a few minutes and bring him back to the house so he can do his laundry and we'll grill some hot dogs for lunch. Feel like going out for some Mexican food for dinner tonight (Chili Verde Enchiladas). Probably watch some Winter Olympics (hopefully they will show some curling). Go out for a late-night run or bike ride around midnight before going to bed.

Isn't it weird how so many of us are fascinated watching curling?

I don't know. I watched some on Saturday-Sunday. Up all night celebrating a BBB (big beautiful birthday). Happy Mardi Gras!

How did you like the movie?

I was watching the curling this afternoon (mixed doubles, Norway vs. China.) I'm not going to say that I understand it entirely, but I enjoyed it. Listening to them yell at each other in their native languages was fun.

The movie was great. Margot Robbie and Allison Janney were outstanding. I wouldn't bet against Janney walking away with Best Supporting Actress as Tonya Hardings mom. What a BITCH!!!

Sleeping in, and watching the Olympics.

Farmers' Market for fresh organic stuff. Sure, it may cost a bit more, but it tastes better because it's really ripe and I'll use it all instead of throwing away half.

Santa Ana winds and pushing 80 degrees, so no snow shoveling around here....

Flew home from Hawaii. Tried to figure out a way to stay, but no luck.
