She's a Siberian and her name is Kiska. She's a really sweet little thing. She's fallen asleep now after a long day for a wee kitten, being flown in from Minneapolis and all.

My parents are in love with her too, in spite of the fact that my mother didn't want another cat in the house. LOL She's a heart-stealer alright.

Siberians are a fairly new breed to North America, so there aren't a lot of Siberian breeders. I had to go all the way to Minnesota to find a reputable breeder which actually had kittens available.

The breeders in Ontario are quite small and it might have taken me a year to get a kitten.

I felt so badly putting that wee little thing on a plane, but we just had her first Vet visit and she seems to have come through the ordeal just fine. At least the flight from Minneapolis to here is only about an hour and a half.
