For Summer: do you know Loch Raven HS...

In Baltimore County? They had a lock down and heavy police presence today....was thinking of you...

Thanks, Mythb4meat. We knew about the situation at Loch Raven and were monitoring it. Thankfully LR has a school-based police officer. Still in shock over yesterday, of course. There were lots of long faces on the teachers this morning.

We do lockdown drills periodically. One of the teachers who was killed in Florida did exactly what I always do during a lockdown -- step into the hallway to lock the door before closing it. I always run through my mind various scenarios of what I would do in such a situation. I guess you just do the best you can.
