For those who have a current lovefest with tele-evangelists

Do you send them money? To these 'humble men of God'?

Or, buy their books, DVD series, etc.?

I don't think it's enough to simply, 'love, love, love' them. That doesn't keep the 'ministry alive', does it?

While I share the same basic emotion, the spending of the family nestegg to 'buy' Jesus' love does not bother me...too much.

After all, who among us does not appreciate someone dumber standing before us, whom we can take advantage of and thus advance our position in this world.

My sister-in-law used to have something of a love-fest with the nuts on TBN. She didn't send them money. She just thought they were great entertainment. She used to watch them all morning on weekdays when my brother wasn't home.

If this is about Billy Graham, today on RfM is the first time I’ve heard him referred to as a televangelist.
